Hello. My name is Kerri
Terminology used to describe epilepsy has evolved significantly over the years. For example, "Partial Seizure" is now referred to as "Focal Seizure," reflecting a more precise understanding of the condition. Similarly, "Grand mal" has been updated to "Generalized tonic-clonic," emphasizing the generalized nature of these seizures. This shift not only improves clarity among healthcare professionals but also enhances patient understanding and awareness of their condition.
